Ftw duke fishron is just master mode with more damage. And by more damage I mean ~500 contact damage. One of the few ftw bosses that didn't get new AI, was pretty dissapointed when I fought him. I recommend the Gelatinous Pillion if you're struggling though, turns the fight into a breeze, even on hardcore(so long as you don't lose your nerve)Just kill it until it drops the mount.
